Covid-19 regulations.
Health & safety rules at Ibiza Boat Club.
All Covid-19 regulations were discontinued in 2023.
We're out at sea, as open-air as you can get, all the time moving, all the time with a decent breeze - it's the least 'stuffy' or enclosed event venue to be at a time like this.

Despite the current pandemic, we are more than motivated and happy to welcome you back on water to enjoy the best of Ibiza and Formentera in a safe and responsible manner. We’ve made some adjustments to our practices to ensure a safe environment for you to enjoy your holiday. These are the most important updates:

Please note: We hope that we can offer our events as advertised. In 2021, alcohol was not allowed to be served for some weeks. Right now, alcohol is approved on boats for 2022. But no worries! You can still buy your tickets now and save your spot. If we have to change our offer and you don't want to attend the event anymore, you can cancel your tickets free of charge up to 24 hours before the event.

Luckily we have the biggest boat on the island - that means we can reduce the event capacity by 60% to ensure the physical distance of 1.5 meters.
Our boat is licensed for 300 people, but we host our events with 120 people only.

ATTENTION: Our rules and regulations are constantly being updated according to the actual and newest government regulations. You can review the most current version of our Covid-19 rules at any time at this page.
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion and the government's regulations, to update, change or replace any part of these rules by posting updates and changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check our website as well as the official news periodically for changes of the Covid-19 regulations.

We’ve implemented the following rules and regulations to ensure the safety of us all for our events:
-
All sanitary facilities are equipped with hand sanitisers and are cleaned and disinfected every 30 minutes.
-
We only offer contactless payment options onboard. No cash payment.
-
We kindly ask you for your understanding that there might be longer waiting times (at the toilets as well as for food and drinks) due to the health and safety regulations we are following. Thanks for your patience and understanding. Please follow the instructions of our staff when asked.
-
Our staff wears masks covering mouth and nose to protect themselves and you.
-
Please follow the social distancing rules of 1.5 meters. (Please note that some photos shown on our website have been taken in 2019.)
-
No use of paper menus and drinks lists.
-
We only use organic single use cutlery, plates and cups. No use of reusable cups for hygienic reasons.

These rules can be adapted for private events. Contact us in case of any questions.
